The 'Trauma-Informed Care in Occupational Therapy' course was a valuable learning experience for me as an occupational therapist in Japan. The course provided a detailed overview of the principles and practices of trauma-informed care, including the importance of client-centered approach and the role of occupational therapy in supporting recovery. I appreciated the emphasis on cultural competence and the need to adapt trauma-informed care to different cultural contexts. The course materials were well-organized and easy to follow, and the instructors were responsive to questions and feedback. One area for improvement could be the inclusion of more examples from Asian cultures, which would make the course even more relevant to my own practice. Nevertheless, I found the course to be highly informative and practical, and I would recommend it to my colleagues in Japan and beyond.
