I'm thrilled to have taken the Islamic Finance and Philanthropy course at Stanmore School of Business! As a financial analyst in the US, I wanted to expand my knowledge of Islamic finance and its applications. The course exceeded my expectations, providing a comprehensive overview of the subject matter. The instructor's expertise and the quality of the course materials were outstanding. I particularly appreciated the case studies on sukuk bonds and Islamic microfinance, which gave me practical insights into the industry. I've already applied some of the concepts learned in the course to my work, and I'm confident that this knowledge will help me advance in my career. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the course and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in Islamic finance and philanthropy.

I took the Islamic Finance and Philanthropy course to learn more about the philanthropic aspects of Islamic finance. The course was pretty cool, and I liked how it covered the basics of Islamic finance and then dove deeper into the philanthropic side of things. I found the discussions on waqf and zakat really interesting, and I appreciated how the instructor used real-life examples to illustrate the concepts. The course materials were solid, but I think some of the lectures could have been more engaging. Still, I learned a lot and would recommend the course to anyone looking to understand the intersection of Islamic finance and philanthropy. One thing that would be awesome is if the course included more Latin American case studies, but overall, it was a great experience.

The course materials were top-notch, and I appreciated the emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving. One of the highlights of the course was the guest lecture on Islamic fintech, which was really insightful and opened my eyes to the exciting developments in the field. I enrolled in the Islamic Finance and Philanthropy course to enhance my understanding of the subject matter and its relevance to the Egyptian market. The course provided a detailed examination of the key concepts and principles of Islamic finance, including the prohibition of riba and the importance of risk sharing. I found the lectures on Islamic banking and finance to be particularly informative, and I appreciated the instructor's use of case studies to illustrate the practical applications of the concepts. The course materials were comprehensive and well-organized, and I liked the emphasis on critical thinking and analysis. One area for improvement could be the inclusion of more African case studies, but overall, I was satisfied with the course and would recommend it to professionals and students interested in Islamic finance and philanthropy. The course has helped me achieve my learning goals, and I'm confident that the knowledge and skills I acquired will be beneficial in my future career.
